How do I join and get started?

Getting started is simple, and completely pressure-free! We offer a Free No-Sweat Tour where you can meet our coaches and explore the gym. During your visit, we’ll chat about your current fitness level, your goals, and what you’d like to achieve. There’s no better time than now to start feeling stronger, healthier, and more confident. Do you provide guidance on nutrition and recovery?

Yes! We provide guidance on eating right and getting the right amount of sleep to maximize your energy levels so you get the maximum results from your efforts.

How many days per week should I attend to see results?

When you start at Wildwood Fitness Collective, your fitness level will improve quickly, typically within the first 30 days. The key to consistent results and marked improvement is consistency and commitment, so we recommend you attend 3 classes per week as a starting point. You’ll be sore some days, so allow yourself recovery days between training sessions at first. Over the course of the following months, you can work up to 5 days per week if you want to maximize your fitness gains and results, but you should stick to a schedule and structure that feels best for you.

Do I need to already be fit to join?

No! Everyone is travelling down a different path to their ideal fitness destination. We assess your fitness level before determining the best methods and training regimen to scale you up to where you want to be. Our workouts are universally scaled, which means they have a different version of each day's workout designed for every level of fitness. As you gain more fitness aptitude, you can take on more challenging variants of the workout if you want!

What makes Wildwood Fitness Collective different from the other gyms near me?

We are a locally-owned and purpose-built gym that focuses on making a tangible impact on the health and happiness in Wildwood and the surrounding area. You aren’t just a number or normal gym member here. Everyone knows your name and wants to help you improve yourself. It’s a community of like-minded, close-knit people that want to see you show up and want to support you through your personal fitness journey. There’s never any criticism or judgement, because everyone is at a different stage in their fitness.

What should I expect in a class?

We offer exciting, challenging, and varied programming, all while keeping it fun! All of our workouts are published in advance as well, so you’re never caught off guard by the routine for the day. Some days are more strength-focused, where we focus on our lifts. Movements like barbell squats, kettlebell swings, and occasionally some olympic lifts will be included. Other days, we may focus more on cardio and conditioning with rowers and bikes. Some days are focused on body weight movements like pushups, sit-ups, and pull-ups. Other days are a mix of everything. Each class is 60 minutes and led by qualified coaches. We always start together with warm-ups designed to activate the muscles being used in the workout. The coach will brief the group on the workout, movements, and proper form, then during the workout, will guide and provide instruction. At the end of class, we will cool down together to accelerate recovery and reduce potential injury.
